Educational Services FAQ

How Do Students Benefit from Educational Services?

Many students need a little bit of help to be as successful as they can be in their classes. Private tutoring, specialized classes, and skills workshops can provide:

  • Additional instruction to master a difficult concept or subject
  • Review and support for foundational skills that are crucial to success
  • Clarification on assignments or answers to specific questions
  • Activities and drills to build and maintain fluency and accuracy with basic skills such as math facts or spelling
  • Development of independent learning and study skills
  • Increase in confidence and self-sufficiency at learning

Who Can Benefit from Educational Services?

Nearly anyone can improve their academic performance! Enrichment students, maintenance students, and remedial students are all welcome. Here are just a few situations when Educational Services, such as tutoring or skills workshops, will help:

  • Young children learning to read, write and do math
  • Older students struggling in basic skills or specific classes
  • Adults who need to brush up on skills to pursue goals
  • Special needs students who need additional instruction and practice to succeed
  • Middle and high school students preparing for high-stakes tests
  • Students of any age who struggle with a specific skill or class
