Even if you don’t homeschool, there are loads of things you can do to help your children succeed academically.  The school won’t do the whole job; YOU are your child’s best teacher!

As a parent, you need to oversee the educational process and make sure your kids are getting everything they need at every age.  You are their advocate and support system.  It’s a big job, to know what is appropriate to learn, to understand how to tell if learning is on track, and to be intentional about providing opportunities for practice and application that schools simply don’t have the resources to offer.
